myers-briggs results and affirmation!
I was analyzed as an INTP (introvert-25% intuitive-34% thinking-1% perceiving-12%) on the personality test. I think this is fairly accurate to my personality as it is described as easy going and open to new experiences until my principles are violated. I think this is a good descriptor of me because I often actively seek out new experiences and I love trying new things but I also do have very firm principles. However, the INTP also is described as having a debilitating fear of failure, which is not something that I have really experienced. Overall, I have a mixed opinion about these results, as I have taken many of these tests and gotten pretty much every result in the book but this one did seem fairly accurate on many of the points.
Additionally, my favorite affirmation that I received was the one from my dive coach Bryce. The five words he used to describe me were loyal, passionate, guarded, stubborn, and competitive. He also wrote, "Brittany knows herself, she knows who she is, and she knows who she wants to be. Brittany surrounds herself with people who believe in the same morals and standards. She isn't willing to compromise who she is to make others happy or to help herself fit in."
I agree with you when you say that you have many of the qualities of this placement, yet you also don't have many of these traits as well. In the time that I have known you, I have never ever seen you be afraid of failure (in fact sometimes you laugh about failure because it is inevitable). You FOR SURE I feel live trying new things and always being adventurous. I also love what Bryce said about you! Especially the first line, "she knows who she is and she knows who she wants to be." Because that is fact through and through.
ReplyDeleteI am not surprised by your results Brittany. You have always been willing to do something new and exciting to not let life get boring. And I also am surprised that your results say you fear failure as you love trying new stuff which inevitably will bring some failure. Still, what a rad post
